Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 14 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we promote Health, Community Service, and Environmental Awareness through Adventure. We hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

Standing Stone Cabins
February 19-21, 2010
Team Green escaped to Standing Stone State Park for a relaxing cabin getaway. The group enjoyed long scenic hike and a warm cozy cabin to kick off the first warm weekend in months!

Horseback Riding Clinic
February 21st, 2010
As a way to introduce horseback riding in its full capacity to Team Greeners, we partnered up with Southeast Pack Trips for a full day Horseback Clinic. Participants were walked through the entire process of feeding, grooming, and saddling a horse, then ventured out on a 2 hour ride.

Valentine's Backpack: Laurel-Snow Falls
February 13-14, 2010
Every Valentine's weekend Team Green escapes the chaos of flowers and candies for a more rustic getaway with friends. This year we went winter backpacking on the Cumberland Trail. Though the night was cold and we all got little sleep, the beauty of ice covered waterfalls and snow over the valley made the weekend all worth while!

Maggie Valley Ski Trip
February 5-7, 2010
There's nothing like a great weekend ski trip! For almost 12 years now Team Green has gone to North Carolina for a quick weekend getaway. This year all that snowfall finally paid off! The base at Cataloochee was 107 inches!
