Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 14 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we promote Health, Community Service, and Environmental Awareness through Adventure. We hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

Charit Creek Weekend Getaway
April 4-5, 2009
Charit Creek Lodge is a rustic lodge nestled deep in the Big South Fork wilderness area. Without electricity, these cabins offer wood burning stoves and candle light, not to mention access to miles of hiking and horseback riding trails.

Chattooga White Water Rafting
April 24-26, 2009
The Chattooga River is a well know river for great Class III-Class V rapids, and it was the location for filming of the movie the Deliverance (is that good or bad, we're not sure!). Team Green spend two full days on the river with one night of camping along the riverbed shoreline.

Nashville Earth Day Festival
April 18, 2009
This year's Nashville Earth Day Festival, held at Centennial Park, brought out thousand Nashville and surrounding residents for a day of live music, educational workshops, green energy demonstrations, children activities, and local food.

Intermediate Backpack: Rock Creek
March 14-15, 2009
The Rock Creek Section of the Cumberland Trail offers more strenuous terrain, and this season with extra rain a very large, unexpected river crossing (which is usually a unmemorable creek). Just shows that you should always be prepared!
