Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 14 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we promote Health, Community Service, and Environmental Awareness through Adventure. We hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

Boundary Waters Canoe Trip
August 8-15, 2009
We spent 7 days on the water and 6 nights camping on the island shorlines of the Boundary Water Canoe Wilderness in Minnesota. The waterways took us past Native American pictographs, spectacular waterfalls, breathtaking views, and some of the best fishing in BWCAW.

Outdoor Rock Climbing Day Trip: Foster Falls
August 8, 2009
Team Green headed two hours south to the Fierry Gizzard trail for a day climbing trip along the Foster Falls bluffs. This area offers great routes for intermediate and advanced climbers, and just enough beginner routes to make a day of it for anyone.

Buffalo Canoe Float & Clean-Up
August 15, 2009
Every year Team Green adventures ventures to the Buffalo River, one of the most popular, and therefore most trashed, rivers within a one hour radius. Sponsored by Buffalo Trace Whiskey, eager Team Greeners float down the river two to a canoe picking up trash, tires, and some really strange items as they compete to win Whiskey and Buffalo Swag.

Nashville Dragon Boat
August 22, 2009
One of Nashville's biggest growing fundraiser for the Cumberland River Compact is the Dragon Boat Race. Families, friends, co-workers and awesome companies like Team Green and Lightning 100 compete Hong Kong style Dragon Boats to raise funds and awareness about water quality on the Cumberland.
