Who is Team Green?
Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

WOMEN'S MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES
Sunday, September 14th at 8am
Join SORBA Middle TN & Team Green for our monthly women’s mountain bike rides! These rides are open to women only and are for all levels (i.e. beginner friendly). We will move the rides around each month to give a little variety and, depending on who shows up, we will tailor the ride to meet everyone’s needs. You will never be left behind on one of these rides! The goal of the monthly rides is to help women have fun and feel less intimidated by riding and learning with other women of similar ability levels. If you are new to the sport, are tired of riding with the guys, want to meet other women that like to ride, or you simply love any excuse to ride your bike, come join us.
SEPTEMBER: Sunday, September 14th, 8am, Montgomery Bell
OCTOBER: Sunday, October 19th, 9am, Long Hunter
Rain cancels. You will need to bring a mountain bike (hybrids are okay, but should at least have front suspension) w/ knobby tires, a helmet, and a water bottle or hydra-pack. If you are new to the sport or haven’t ridden in a while, you may want to take your bike to your local bike shop to make sure everything is in working order and fits you properly before your first ride. If you have any questions, please email Shana Culberson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Montgomery Bell: From Nashville, go out I-40 west and get off at the Pasquo, Pegram, McCrory lane exit (next exit after Bellevue). Go north, to the right. Go about 1 mile to highway 70. Turn left (west). go thru Pegram, and keep on thru White Bluff on 70. About 1.5 miles out of White Bluff, look for Jones Creek Road on the right. Turn right and go past the Boat Factory, and look for trailhead parking lot on the right. Turn right on Bill Duke Rd and then immediately into the parking lot. This is about 20 minutes from the I-40 exit.
