Who is Team Green?
Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Women’s Mountain Bike Ride
Details
When
April 27 at 9am
Join SORBA Middle TN & Team Green for a monthly women’s only mountain bike ride at Long Hunter State Park Sunday, April 27th. We will meet at the Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail parking lot at 9am. All ability levels are welcome. Long Hunter offers a very beginner friendly shorter loop (a little over 2 miles), with another optional loop that offers good opportunities to learn new skills and extra miles for those a little more fit (about 5 miles total). The goal of these monthly rides is to help women have fun and feel less intimidated by riding and learning with other women of the same ability level. If you are new to the sport, are tired of riding with the guys, want to meet other women that like to ride, or you simply want to ride your bike, come join us.
Rain cancels. You will need to bring a mountain bike w/ knobby tires, a helmet, and a water bottle or hydra-pack. If you are new to the sport or haven’t ridden in a while, you may want to take your bike to your local bike shop to make sure everything is in working order and fits you properly before your first ride. We are working to have a representative from a local bike shop for each ride to help the day of as well.
If you have any questions, please email Shana Culberson
