Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! March Backpack Trip

Join us this March for another great backpacking trip to Big South Fork/Rock Creel Loop Trail Head to Pickett State Park/Hidden Passage
Mileage: Approximately 13 miles
Rating: Moderate to Difficult
Maximum Group Size: Ten People
Starting at the Rock Creek Loop Trail Head following the Sheltowee Trace Trail north to the Rock Creek. At Rock Creek, we will follow the trail to the Rock Creek Trail Head where we will pick up the John Muir Trail. The Sheltowee Trace Trail joins the John Muir Trail along Rock Creek following Rock Creek to Picket State Park on the Hidden passage Trail.
Logistics: Meet on Saturday morning at 0700 am CST at Kroger’s across from the Summit Medical Center. We will park at Pickett State Park and shuttle to Peters Mountain Trail Head. The plan will be to be hiking on the trail by 11:00 am – 11:30 pm EST.
Logistics
Meet on Saturday morning at 0700 am CST at Target parking lot on Bell Road off I-24. We will travel to the Cumberland Trailhead via I-24. The plan will be to be hiking on the trail by 12:00 pm EST. We will arrange for car pools before and at the parking lot at Target for the trip. Pack a lunch to enjoy on the way to the trailhead, as we will have limited time for stops.

Trip is open to members and non-members. Participants must provide their own gear including tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, warm clothing, food, snacks, and cooking utensils.
