Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Wilderness First Aid Training

Saturday, January 19th and Sunday, January 20th
Team Green is partnering with MMVanderbilt University Outdoor Recreational Programming is offering a basic wilderness first aid training and certification. Wilderness Medical Associates preside over the instruction. The cost for the 2-day class is $230 per person and includes lunch each day.
The class is two 8 hour day classes and covers:
Day 1
Registration, Introduction; Patient Assessment System;CPR; Circulatory System; Nervous System; Respiratory System; Fractures, Stable Injuries, Dislocations; Splints 1- Extremities; Electives
Day 2
Hypothermia; Hyperthermia and Heat Illness; Near-Drowning; Frostbite and Cold Injury; Lightning & Electrical Injuries; Wounds and Burns; Anaphylaxis; Lifting, Moving, Extrication and Patient Carries; Backcountry Medicine
