Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Get away from Valentines Day pressures and treat yourself to a charming weekend with friends. Leave after work on Friday and stay at the luxurious Hemlock Bluff Cabin at Big South Fork, then ride a full day on horseback with Southeast Pack Trips for a customized scenic ride through one of the most beautiful natural areas in Tennessee.

Regulations Riders must weigh less than 250 lbs (for horseback) and must be 18 years or older to participate.

Accomodations Hemlock Bluff Cabin offers three rooms, two sleeper sofas, and a futon to sleep 12 comfortably at double occupancy.
Difficulty This event is open to riders of all experience level, but it is requested that you have ridden before. The all day ride is approximately 16-20 miles.
Children Policy This event is open to 18 and up only
Dog Policy Dogs are not permitted on this trip
Cancellation Policy There is a 10% cancellation fee for this trip ($17). No refunds after January 31st for the two night option, no refunds at all for the Sunday night option.
Logistics
We will leave Nashville on Friday, February 13th after work and arrive in the evening (around 10pm) to Hemlock Bluff Cabin. In the morning we will awake to a true country breakfast, courtesy of Southeast Pack Trips, then head out for a full day of horseback (expect approximately 16-20 miles). We can decide as a group the desired length and difficulty of the ride. After a beautiful ride and lunch throughout (please pack your own lunch), we will be treated to another home cooked meal before heading off to the jacuzzi, Foosball table, massage table or comfy sofas to enjoy a relaxing evening after an adventurous day! Sunday morning you may arrange your own 2 hour, half day, or full day ride with Southeast Pack Trips, enjoy a hike, or head home early. For those of you who wish to stay an additional evening on Sunday may do so for only $30 more!
This price includes lodging for 2 or 3 nights, one home cooked breakfast and dinner on Valentines Day, a full day guided horseback ride on Valentines Day, and an optional day hike on Sunday. All additional horseback rides and meals are not included. A fully equipped kitchen is available at the cabin if you bring preparations for additional meals.

About Hemlock Bluff Cabin
Nestled on the edge of Big South Fork Park, Hemlock Bluff Cabin offers the perfect getaway with all the comforts of home. Hemlock Bluff Cabin is a private oasis tucked away on a beautiful, secluded lot that borders over 800,000 acres of protected forests, rivers and streams in the Upper Cumberland Plateau area of Tennessee and Kentucky. You can walk off the back of our lot directly into the adjacent outdoorist dream. Do nothing, or do everything! This cabin is rentable through HemlockBluff.com as your own private getaway.

Benita Hearndon and Renita Cox are nationally certified massage therapists and will be available for personal massages at our cabin after your horseback ride on Valentine’s Day evening, or anytime on Sunday. Call ahead to book your massage.
Reservation is required. Call (931) 787-2420 or (931) 200-5709 and tell them your desired day, massage type and that you are with Team Green. Massages are not included in the trip price.
RATES
Swedish Massage $30 half hour or $45 one hour
Deep Tissue $50 one hour
Tandem (both therapists massaging at same time) $70 one hour
Chair Massage $20 for 20 minutes or $30 for 30 minutes
Reflexology $45 one hour

For the two night option your price includes lodging, home cooked breakfast and dinner on Valentines Day, and a full day guided horseback ride with friends. $165 Members, $180 Non-Members.

You may register for an additional night, or come up for Sunday night only for just $30! Enjoy all the amenities of the luxury cabin and join Laurel for a long hike on Sunday, arrange your own 2 hour, half day, or full day horseback ride with Southeast Pack Trips, or just relax for an extended weekend (President’s Day), and head home on Monday. The additional day cost includes only lodging. All horseback rides and meals on Sunday and Monday are to be arranged on your own.

I have ridden with Southeast Pack Trips many times and highly recommend this trip. It will be an adventure you will not soon forget. If you sign up for this trip, I highly recommend you call Larry personally so he can outfit you with a horse based on your experience level. This will assure you the best ride you can have.

This trip filled its last two remaining spots last night. Keep an eye out on the calendar for similar events this spring and summer!
I signed up….guess I was the last one because my sister tried this am and could not. So, I still want to go but would like to know a little more about accommodations/sharing sleeping quarters, etc. Is this going to require sharing a bed with someone I do not know?
Also, I would like to come back Sunday, leaving there after a hike on Sunday between 2-3 pm to get back to Nashville by 6ish. Any interested in car pooling?
