Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Star on the Car Photo Contest

Now through June 15th
Ever since Darrell Waltrip Automotive became a sponsor of Team Green Adventures, we’re seeing STARS! Everywhere we go, we see the Darrell Waltrip logo… on the interstate, at grocery stores, at shows, at events! Can you spot the Star on the Car? If you do, snap a photo of the Star on the Car, and share it with Team Green Adventures for your chance to win some fun prizes!
When: Photos accepted April 15th through June 15th. Winners announced on June 26th.
Where: Post photos on Team Green’s Facebook Page, or email your photos to TeamGreen@Lightning100.com
Cost: FREE event, open to the public!
Difficulty: This is an easy and fun interactive contest! Have your camera ready, and take note of where you are when you see the Star on the Car!
Children Policy: Children can participate in the contest, but submissions must be made by adults ages 18 or older to win.
Dog Policy: Your pooch can enter too (but only their owners can win!)
PRIZES
Photo submissions will be considered for each of the following categories: funniest photo, most artistic photo, drive by photo (on the road), from the dealership photo, and most unique location. Each of the five finalists will receive a Car Care Kit from Darrell Waltrip Automotive Group along with a free Team Green Adventures Membership (for yourself or to share with a friend)!
The Grand Prize winner will receive a “Fun in the Sun” package (including a beach canopy tent, 2 folding lawn chairs, cooler, 2 koozies, 2 flying rings and a cinch bag) and “The Works” Vehicle Detail courtesy of Darrell Waltrip (worth $300 combined), plus a FREE 2000ft Hang Glide reservation during Team Green’s Hang Gliding Weekend in October ($150 value)! That’s a Grand Prize worth over $450!
