Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Safe Haven's Hike for the Homeless

October 16th
The Hike for the Homeless is an annual fundraiser for Safe Haven Family Shelter, a homeless shelter created to keep families together as they get back on their feet. Last year, over 1,000 Middle Tennessee families were forced to separate in order to receive immediate shelter assistance. Safe Haven allows these families to stay together while providing comprehensive training, counseling, and guidance so that they may return to mainstream living with stable employment and secured housing.
The Hike for the Homeless takes place at Edwin Warner Park. Make a suggested donation at the time of registration, or form a fundraising team, then get outdoors and enjoy a beautiful fall day on the trails.
