Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Rock Island Camping Weekend

July 2-4th
“Team Green Adventures has been car camping at Rock Island for years as our official kick off to the summer. This year we decided to try something new, and celebrate our Independence away from the chaos. Team Green has reserved the entire Tent-Only section of the park, able to fit up to 50 individuals, including children. Pets welcome! This location offers waterfalls that you can jump off of or tube down, biking, running and hiking trails, paddling options, campfires lawn games and more. Last year a participant brought their projector and screen for fireside movie viewing! The possibilities are endless.”

This is a member only event. Members can register up to 4 participants per order (all ages welcome). Not a member? You can Join for as little as $25 for three months to test it out. Make this your first Team Green trip!

Trip Leader:
Hello, my name is Nerissa. This is a family tradition for me and my son and his 70 year-old grandpa. This makes it our 3rd year in a row. I plan to arrive FRIDAY, July 2 at 5pm. Look for Team Green banner at campsite.
FYI – Friday night:
6:30pm History Hike will begin with park naturalist, but you must sign up!

The city of Doyle, TN (a 20 minute drive from the park) is having their firework display on Friday, July 2nd at 8pm. Any campers interested in watching the fireworks are more than welcome to join!
