Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Redwood Backpack Info Session

Have you been checking out Team Green’s Level 2 Backpacking trip through the Redwood Forest, but feel you need a little more info before making a commitment to join? Come out to Team Green’s Redwood Backpack Info Session & Workshop. We’ll discuss the terrain, trip mileage per day, gear, food, and clothing suggestions, weather warnings, and accommodations off the trail.

This is the backpacking trip you’ve been training for, and it’s no beginner adventure. Team Green is heading out West, way West, to California’s majestic Redwood Forest for a four (4) night backpacking trip. We’ll hike between 6 and 11 miles per day on varying terrain, climbing over fallen trees through foggy forest, through the sandy beeches of the Coastal Trail, and sleeping beneath the shade of great Redwoods.
