Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Percy Priest Lake Clean Up

“We’ve waged a war against trash. Waste at Percy Priest Lake has a dramatic impact on the integrity of the environment in Middle Tennessee. Once again we call out to Nashville for your help by volunteering your time. All clean up materials will be provided both for island and inland cleanups. Have Mercy on Percy!”

Nashville Clean Water Project is the largest water cleanup project in Nashville history. You can help be a part of history by volunteering at this year’s Percy Preist Lake Cleaup. Learn how HERE
Thank you for having this event. I am sorry I’ll be out of town that weekend… actually going conservation diving in south Florida, so I will be picking up trash underwater.
I will definitely look for more events like this… I think to make the world a better place you have to start by cleaning up your back yard!
