Upper Ocoee – The Olympic Challenge!

Prepare to challenge the water that has taken on the best boaters in the world. The Upper Ocoee, site of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Competition, is to be open for only 34 days during the 2009 season, so take advantage of this great opportunity. It’s a great trip by itself, or can be combined with a Middle Ocoee trip for a full day of whitewater adventure. The price of this trip is $88 including tax (Retail price is $99 before tax) and includes full river trip and lunch. The full river trip is open to Members Only.

Middle Ocoee – Miles of Fun!

Are you ready to tame the Middle Ocoee, America’s most famous section of Class III-IV whitewater? This is five miles of nearly continuous whitewater excitement! Names of the rapids conjure up images of fun and real adventure— Grumpy, Double Trouble, Tablesaw, and the awesome Hell’s Hole. A trip on the middle Ocoee is one you’ll talk about for years.

Event Comments

  1. Brittney | Apr 12, 05:58 PM

If you sign up by yourself, will you just be paired with people for camping? And will people be car pooling down there or are you on your own?

  2. Team Green | Apr 27, 07:47 PM

    Brittney,

The tents are very large platform tents that come with four foam mattresses. Generally people meet at carpool or around the campfire and choose who to share tents with at that time. We will have an optional carpool. Information on time and meeting location is available in the confirmation email once you register. I hope to see you out on the water!
