Memorial Day Weekend to Land Between the Lakes

Details

When

Friday, May 23 to Monday, May 26

Spend Memorial Day weekend with us at one of the best outdoor areas in the Southeast at Land Between the Lakes. We will camp at one of the best campsites Energy Campground and enjoy hiking, mountain biking, road biking, paddling, swimming, and much more!

Camping

Your reservation includes 3 nights “car camping”. You will need to provide your own camping materials ( including tent, sleeping bag, headlamp, clothes, toiletries), your own bike, your own paddle boat and food for the three days. There will be grilles available and stores not too far. The campsites have hot showers and running water facilities.

Energy Lake Campground

Energy Lake is a quiet inlet separated from the rest of Lake Barkley by Energy Dam. Campers can enjoy Energy’s beach, activity area, or rent a canoe. Energy Lake offers a variety of activities and can accommodate groups, families and other campers. This makes it a popular camping spot for scout troops, school groups, reunions and other large groups. Lakeview and wooded campsites are equipped with electrical hookups which can accommodate RVs and campers.

Hiking trails surround Energy Campground; there are also canoe rentals, a swimming beach, activity field for sports like softball, an archery range, campfire theater, assembly building, and a paved play court.

Hiking

More than 200 miles of trails and abandoned roads meander through our backwoods, fields and alongside peaceful lakeshores. For more details check out LBL Hikes

Mtn / Road Biking

Ready to ride? LBL has many miles of old logging roads and scenic backroads perfect for mountain biking and cycling. On the north end of LBL there are two extensive mountain bike trails suitable for various skill levels.
Numerous paved roads meander through LBL. Start at The Trace and explore! Winding roads travel across rolling hillsides and alongside meadows; many lead into quiet lakefront bays. LBL also offers offers some excellent and virtually undiscovered opportunities for mountain biking. Pick up a trail map at any Welcome Station. For more trail info, check out LBL Biking
