Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Land Between the Lakes Bald Eagle Hike

Join us for a day of hiking and eagle watching at the Land Between the Lakes on the shores of Kentucky Lake. January and February are prime bird watching months as Bald Eagles (and maybe even Golden Eagles) from the Great Lakes region are overwintering in the balmy Kentucky weather.
We will be hiking the North/ South trail for aprox hiking 8-10 miles round trip. Canceled if rain. Consult the weather reports before the trip. Dress warmly in layers, wear sturdy boots, and bring plenty of water and lunch. We will have a few spotting scopes and binoculars but if you have your own, please bring them.
Meet at 8am at the Home Depot at 100 Oaks Mall and carpool/caravan up I-24 toward LBL. Details on meeting time and place to follow. The event is free other than sharing gas expenses and is open to non-members. To sign up, email the trip leader Philip Lienesch
