Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

HER ADVENTURE HIKE

Sunday, May 17th at 2pm
Join Her Nashville and Lightning 100’s Team Green for the first Her Nashville Adventure on Sunday, May 17th as we hike at one of Nashville’s most lovely jewels, Edwin Warner Park. Escape the hectic lifestyle of all those commitments and immerse yourself in an outdoor mecca of exploration for two hours. This is a rain or shine event. Canceled with storms.
When Sunday, May 17th at 2pm
Where Meet at Edwin Warner Park Nature Center on the corner of Highway 100 and Old Hickory Blvd
Cost FREE and open to the public (No Boys Allowed)
Difficulty This event is a leisurely (yet active) hike . We will hike between 2.5 miles or 6.5 miles if there is interest.
Children Policy This is an 18 and up event, leave the kids home with the boys!
Dog Policy Dogs on leashes are welcome
Bring water and snacks to carry on your walk, appropriate hiking shoes such as boots or supportive running shoes, and rain gear if needed (this is a rain or shine event). A Warner Parks guide will be on hand to discuss the park’s history, programs, and goals.
