Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 13 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we create adventures that connect adventure seekers of all ability levels to the great outdoors. By engaging Adventure, Health, and Community, we hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

This year’s Heart & Soul Benefit will be another fabulous evening of art, food, spirits & music: taking place at the Lofts at Werthan Mills on Saturday, January 24, 2009, from 7pm to 11 pm.
The event benefits the American Heart Association, a group dedicated to reducing the prevalence of our nation’s number one and number three killers: Heart Disease and Stroke.
Attendees experience six extraordinary lofts in the historic Werthan Mills Building. Built in 1871 as part of a cotton mill, Werthan residences retain many features of the original building, integrated with some of the most unique urban architecture in Nashville. Restored pine floors, exposed brick and beams, unique artifacts from the factory’s past, 20 foot ceilings and a private penthouse deck are a few of the surprises from previous tours.
In addition to amazing spaces, each home also hosts wine tasting, hors d’ouvres and live entertainment. Returning after its successful debut at last year’s event, there’s also a microbrew tasting for the beer connoisseur.
A $35 donation per person gains you entry to all lofts this year, including the late-night Penthouse Party. This final location will be reserved for the after-party beginning at 10pm, where a live band, one of the hippest lofts in Nashville, and more wine & dessert await you. Be sure to DONATE EARLY, because ticket prices will increase to $40 the day of the event.
If you can’t make it to the event, you will definitely be missed. But we hope you’ll make a donation here in support of the great work done by the American Heart Association.

I am thinking about joining teamgreen after seeing all the great and fun things you do. But being single, do I have to have a date to do all the activities?

Team Green is NOT a dating group. We are simply an outdoor adventure club uniting like minded individuals who share the same interest and passion for the outdoors and are looking for others to explore with. Thanks for asking!
