Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Hands On Nashville Volunteer Day

Join a Team Green Team and lend a helping hand to Nashville Schools with the 20th Annual Hands on Nashville Day! Hands On Nashville (HON) was founded in 1991 to help people transform the world around them by volunteering. Hands On Nashville Day is the largest day of service specifically benefiting over 50 different Schools in Metro Nashville. Join Team Green’s Team to help make a metro school location become a greener and more sustainable place to learn and grow.
Hands On Nashville Day is not just a day of service to our community, but also a fund raising event for Hands On Nashville’s Year Round commitments. This year Team Green Members may register for FREE to be a part of the Team Green Volunteer Team, but may also make a donation in increments of $5, which will be 100% donated to Hands On Nashville. Suggested donation for this event is $25 (the regular cost of registration).
