Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Share your passion for the outdoors with Nashville’s Youth. Team Green is partnering with Great Outdoor University to recruit volunteers for this Youth Bike Ride.

Where Shelby Bottom Nature Center

Cost Only your time
Difficulty This will be an easy ride along Shelby Bottom Greenways. Distance TBD.
Children Policy This is a family friendly event
Dog Policy Dogs on leashes who have experience riding along bikes welcome.
Riders and volunteers will need to provide their own transportation to and from the event, and their own bike. All other supplies and food will be provided.
About Great Outdoors University Program
Great Outdoors University (GOU) program is a youth outdoor experience
and conservation education program of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
GOU recently expanded to include Nashville youth and families in its
programming. GOU Nashville models itself after its successful sister
program in Memphis and is guided by the same mission: to connect kids
with the great outdoors in meaningful, life-changing and lasting ways.
