Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Food Drive and Flood Relief Volunteer Day

Looking for a way to volunteer your time or resources? Join Team Green Adventures and Lightning 100!
“Lightning 100 and Team Green Adventures are committed to giving back to the Nashville community, for all of the great live music and outdoor opportunities that Nashville has graciously given us. On Saturday, June 12th from 1-4pm, Team Green Adventures will be sorting food at Second Harvest Food Bank to help out the homeless and those struck by the flood. We know it’s Bonnarroo weekend… If you can’t volunteer but still want to contribute, stop by Lightning 100 Studios (1310 Clinton Street, Ste 200, Nashville, 37203) to donate non-perishable food items. Most needed items include canned meats, canned veggies, canned fruits, macaroni/pastas, and peanut butter. Learn more about needed items at Second Harvest Food Bank. Food donations will be accepted at Lightning 100 between 10am and 5pm weekdays until noon on Friday, June 11th.”
