Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

TG FALL PICNIC

Sunday, September 21st from 11:00am to 4:00pm

Join us for our annual Fall Picnic at Long Hunter State Park’s Bryant Grove Picnic Shelter on Sunday, September 21th from 11:00 until 6:00. We will have grilles, condiments, and plates so bring something to grille and a side dish to share. Enjoy outdoor activities- Kids but no dogs allowed at Bryant Grove regardless if on leash or not-sorry. Free event and open to the public! Directions. and further details coming soon. No reservations needed and open to the public.

Paddling

Long Hunter State Park is located on Percy Priest Lake. Bring a kayak or canoe if you have one. We we may have boats available to borrow.

Biking

Bring your day pack and mountain bike and get there early. Long Hunter has great mountain bike trails for beginners and experts alike. Join Phil at 9am for a morning ride before our picnic.

Directions:

Long Hunter: From Nashville, take I-40 East to Mt. Juliet Road, Exit 226-A. Go south and follow the signs to the Bryant Grove area / Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail in the park. Or, take I-24 east to Old Hickory Boulevard, Exit 62. Go north (left) on SR171 and follow the signs to the Bryant Grove area / Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail in the park. Park Phone: 615-885-2422
