Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Earth Day Festival & Living Well Sustainable Marketplace

Pack up your day bag with a blanket, frisbee, and don’t forget a recyclable item because this year you can attend BOTH the 10th Annual Nashville Earth Day Festival and the inaugural Living Well Sustainable Marketplace. You pick your starting point, and then take the complimentary shuttle from one event to the other.
Nashville Earth Day Festival is a family friendly music festival featuring green businesses, organizations, and local food vendors. Bring the kiddos for the Children’s Area and learn about all the organizations around Middle Tennessee helping to keep our beautiful state GREEN! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the music. Living Well Sustainable Marketplace is a new event to Nashville, and one we’ve all been waiting for! We’ve heard all about the things we need to do to make our lives and our community greener, but there are so many options out there! How are we supposed to know which companies to use, or which products do the things that we need while still helping the environment? The Living Well Sustainable Marketplace is your chance to do the research, face to face with the companies you need to know about. Walk from booth to booth and see what all your options are in one spot. This event is also family friendly with a Children’s area (kids get in free) and various presentations during the day on Saturday. This is a two day event, so if you want to spend all day at the Nashville Earth Day Festival on Saturday, come by to the Living Well Sustainable Marketplace on Friday instead!
