Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Dragon Boat Festival: Team Green "Green Giants" Team

This year the Dragon Boats roar again! With a close race between the Team Green & Lightning 100 boats, this year the competition IS ON! Registration is now open for Team Green Members to sign up for the Team Green “Green Giants” Dragon Boat team. Members may register up to 2 people each (including a non-member). Spots are limited!
What is the Dragon Boat Festival? It’s an all day series of races in Chinese Style Dragon Boats down the Cumberland River. Proceeds from this event benefit the Cumberland River Compact. Each Dragon Boat fits a team of up to 21 people, with one Team Captain and 10 rows of two paddlers. Teams race is a series of 3 races throughout the day.
Team spots usually cost as much as $50 per spot, but Team Green members can snag a spot on the Team Green “Green Giants” Team for only $5 per person!
