Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

Cumberland River Swim

When
Thursday, June 19th
Support out Team Greener Danella Boyer as she joins various Metro Council Members and Metro employees to swim across the Cumberland River on Thursday, June 19th around 5:00 PM. (Rain date June 26) The event is to draw attention to the River itself and awareness to the quality of water we are so fortunate to have. Danella and others will swim from the Fire Boat Platform at Riverfront Park across to the grassy area beside the Ghost Ballet sculpture.
The Cumberland River Compact plans to have a Canoe-t to Work day on June 19th with more details to come.
