Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Put-in and Take-out at Lock Two Park in Nashville
You don’t have to go far for this one. Starting at Lock Two Park by Opryland, we’ll paddle the Cumberland River and head towards the General Jackson until we want to turn around and go back to Lock Two Park. Then we’ll follow up with a delicious pancake brunch at Kim’s house nearby. We need to get on the water early because the water is much easier to navigate. It’s fairly flat in the mornings, but gets choppy later in the day. Be prepared for some FUN big waves if a boat goes by.
We’ll meet up at Lock Two Park near Opryland (directions below). Drive your vehicle down the boat ramp to the water and unload quickly so other vehicles can use the ramp.
Bring water, light snacks if you want (save room for pancakes), and don’t forget your life vest!
Pancake Brunch: Please state in your RSVP if you plan to attend the pancake brunch. Bring $3 CASH to help with expenses.

If someone has a second kayak I would like to borrow. I am trying to test different kayaks prior to purchasing my own. I will attend the pancake brunch.
