Who is Team Green?

Team Green Adventures is Tennessee’s outdoor adventure leader with a 14 year history. Through our partnership with Lightning 100, we promote Health, Community Service, and Environmental Awareness through Adventure. We hope to instill a respect for the environment, a desire to explore new adventures, and a craving for challenge beyond everyday boundaries.

CANEY SCENIC CANOE FLOAT

With a slow, but noticeable current, the Caney Fork is a great river to enjoy a relaxing canoe float on. This scenic canoe trip is a great way to slow down when you feel like you need a break from a very busy world.

When Saturday, July 11th at 11am (launch time)
Where Near Edgar Evins State Park
Silver Point, TN
Cost $29 per person or $58 for a full boat.

Difficulty This is a beginner friendly event, 6 mile scenic float
Children Policy Children ages 12 and up welcome!
Dog Policy Friendly dogs who can swim and get along with other dogs are welcome.

Refund Policy This event is subject to 10% cancellation fee. No refunds two weeks before this event (June 27th).

Registration

This event is open to members and non-members. There is a limit of 20 people, or 10 canoes. You may register for yourself as an individual by purchasing one spot, or register for a whole canoe to yourself by purchasing 2 spots.

Your trip leader will send directions and instructions closer to the event date.

Notice to Trip participants

Team Green has contracted with Canoe the Caney to serve as booking agent/ guide service for Caney Scenic canoe Float. Canoe the Caney will be responsible for payment of your trip deposit for Caney Scenic Canoe Float. Deposits collected by Team Green for this trip have been forwarded to Canoe the Caney for this purpose. Team Green is not responsible for your deposit once paid to Canoe the Caney. Team Green is also not responsible for monies paid by you directly to Canoe the Caney.

Camping Option

If you would like to make this an overnight trip, Edgar Evins State Park is nearby. This park does not accept reservations, so camping is available on a first come, first serve basis.

    I see no provisons or pricing for shuttle for bringing your own canoe or kayak????
