Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! BRIDGE BUILDING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING WEEKEND

October 10th through 12th
Bridge Building for the Cumberland Trail and optional Mountain Biking at Raccoon Mountain
Trip Details: Join an AmeriCorps NCCC team and volunteers for bridge building in the Possum and Rock Creek Gorges in Hamilton County. Volunteers are needed to pack in the bridge components, materials for bridge footings, scaffolding, and the tools needed for construction. Volunteers will also participate in bridge construction. Food and lodging will be provided at the Lutheran Camp located in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. You are welcome to bring your own tent and camp instead of using the bunk beds. The work day in the field will be 8am-4:30pm EST. Chattanooga is nearby for those that want to go into town for dinner and Saturday night entertainment. For those interested, intermediate level mountain biking at Raccoon Mountain is an alternative for Sunday. The trail is not very technical but requires hill climbing and endurance. Bring your own bike and helmet.
Logistics: Meet on Friday evening after work at Hickory Hollow Target (5300 Cane Ridge Road, Antioch). We will carpool to the camp.
