Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! 24 Hour Food Sort-a-Thon

Saturday, September 11th at 6am
September is Hunger Action Month, and September 11th is National Day of Service. Team Green Adventures is celebrating in the cause to create hunger awareness by competing with other corporations, groups, and individual volunteers for the 2nd Harvest Food Bank 24 Hour Sort-a-thon. Get up early on September 11th and start your day proudly serving the community.
About the Food Sort-a-thon
The food sort-a-thon begins at 12noon on Friday, September 10th and ends at 12noon on Saturday, September 11th. The 24 hour sort-a-thon is divided into eight 3-hour shifts. Team Green Adventures will be partnering with O’Charley’s Restaurant to sort the most food during our 6AM-9AM SHIFT. Think that’s early? Well, it’s better than the Midnight or worse… 3am shift!
