Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. Since then, our audience has expanded to other cities and states, with members across the Nation and events across the Globe! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

15th Birthday Adventure Mixer: Wave Country

When
Sunday, July 31st from 1-3pm
The wave is coming… and we aren’t talking about another heat wave. Lightning 100’s Team Green Adventures is headed to Metro Park’s Wave Country for our 15th Birthday Adventure Mixer! Ride the waves on a free floaty or let them lap at your feet as you relax by the pool. For the more adventurous folks, head down one of three twisty water slides or climb to great heights for Wave Country’s two speed slides with a 80 foot drop!
We’ll be hanging out to the left of the entrance under the big red umbrella near the concession stand. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. Outside food is permitted, so pack a lunch or bring some cash for the delicious concessions! Sand Volleyball players, bring your volleyball because we’ll by right next to the volleyball net! Register for a chance to win one of our 15 amazing birthday giveaways and grab some free CDs and other Lightning 100 swag! If you’re looking to join the Team Green Giants Dragon Boat Team, you can learn more about the Dragon Boat races under the Team Green info tent!

Costs:
Members: FREE admission for members and their children (Must show membership card or Order Confirmation email)
Non-Members: $12 adults, $10 children, FREE 2 and under
July 31st is ALSO the LAST DAY to purchase a one-year Team Green Membership at the $15 rate!
