Full Moon Campfire Picnic

It’s not too cold for a winter picnic, when there’s a warm fire nearby! Team Green’s Hike & Campfire Picnic at Edwin Warner park is a long time tradition. This year it falls the night of a full moon! Join us around 5pm for a toasty campfire on Sunday, February 28th. Bring some food, some hot cocoa, some friends, some family, and maybe some field games to enjoy with new friends. Those interested can head over to the Full Moon Hike at 7:30pm for a 4 mile hike along paved path. Be sure to bring your headlamp in case the clouds roll in.

64 Mile Club Kick-off

Join Lightning 100’s MGD 64 Mile Club – run 64 miles before the marathon and you are eligible to win top prizes including free entries into the Country Music Marathon & Half-Marathon, gift certificates to outfitters, concert tickets, and much more!

Come out to Team Green;s Wednesday night runs in east Nashville where you can sign up and receive a free 64 Mile Club American Apparel t-shirt and a 64 Mile Club card to log your miles.

Then come out to our Prize Party Friday, April 9 at Buffalo Wild Wings, Nashville West, from 6-9pm to win some of the grand prizes. Anyone 21 years and over is eligible to participate and win prizes.

A spectacular meteor shower is coming soon! The Leonid meteor shower has produced some of the most spectacular meteor displays in history, but it is unfortunately periodic in nature. The Leonids generally begin on November 13 and end on November 21, with maximum generally occurring during the night of November 17/18. Team Green will be driving away from the city lights for a better view, and you’re Invited!
