Who is Team Green?

Team Green Adventures was established by Lightning 100 (WRLT 100.1 FM) in 1996 as a way to get our listeners involved in an active lifestyle. We remain a local company based in Nashville, TN, though we have participants and members who join our events from other cities and states! Through adventure we promote health, community service, and environmental awareness. Check out our calendar and pick the adventure that’s right for you!

    Discover the beauty of The Big South Fork National Recreation Area on horseback with Southeast Pack Trips and Team Green Adventures! This custom experience is great for individuals who want to explore one of Tennessee's most beautiful parks in a way that hikers will never understand!

  • Engage Green Workshop Series

    - FIRST WEDNESDAYS at 6pm


    Engage Green is our monthly sustainability workshop series the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month, in partnership with Urban Green Lab. Each month, join us for a unique discussion that highlight the organizations, businesses and government agencies that are setting the trends to make sustainable practices a more affordable and convenient part of your own life.

  • Fitness Workshop Series

    - SECOND SUNDAYS at 2pm


    Discover new workout routines with a certified Personal Trainer on the SECOND SUNDAY of each month during Team Green's Fitness Bootcamp Series at Centennial Sportsplex. These workouts are designed to get your heart rate up while teaching you how to properly use different equipment at the gym.

  • Nutrition Workshop Series

    - THIRD WEDNESDAYS at 6pm


    The best way to promote better health and nutrition is to eat in-season with local ingredients. That's why we're partnering with the Nashville Farmers' Market on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month to discuss seasonality topics and tasteful new recipes! Each cooking demonstration will feature locally sourced ingredients that you can also find at the Nashville Farmers' Market.
